Job purpose:
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Transfer Online’s proprietary software systems. This role collaborates closely with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify issues, and verify that all deliverables meet functional and technical requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects; work with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing as necessary.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and release readiness reviews.
- Ensure test environments, data, and tools are properly maintained.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to documentation of testing processes, best practices, and release notes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on QA testing experience in a software development environment.
- Proven experience testing web-based and API-driven applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in financial technology or securities management software.
- Exposure to SQL for database validation and data integrity testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing integration.

While this position will require the person to work with different departments, it will not supervise any.
